BACKFLOW  REPAIRS  & REPLACEMENT

Backflow devices rely on check valves and relief valves, which contain rubber components and O-rings that can wear over time. Replacing these parts often restores proper function. In some cases, plastic components may break and require replacement.

Foreign materials, such as small rocks or debris, can prevent the check valve from sealing correctly, causing pressure loss and device failure. Generally, the larger the leak, the more extensive the damage, though these issues can usually be repaired efficiently. In rare instances, the damage may affect the backflow device’s main body, necessitating a full replacement to ensure continued safety and performance.
